Acti-Kare Offers a Wide Range of Services* Our caregivers provide the helping hand that many seniors need to be able to remain living in their own homes as they age, including personal care and companionship. We currently offer help with washing or showering, dressing and personal grooming, incontinence care, assist with eating, assist with mobility and walking, escorting to appointments, shopping or social outings, help with paying bills, assist with meal preparation, errands, even light housekeeping and pet care. We also provide services in assisted-living facilities and nursing homes, for those who have chosen those options, as well as care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.
Beyond our general services, we offer services to expectant mothers, new mothers, nanny/baysitting services, children with special needs, as well as working with families that are recovering from accidents and/or surgeries.
Acti-Kare franchisees need no previous experience in the home care field. We teach you how to select and employ qualified caregivers as well as how to acquire new customers. We will also provide you with a full complement of support systems to help you successfully manage your growing business. Our staff works with each franchise director to customize local advertising.
In addition, your corporate support staff will provide guidance and assistance in selecting and screening your initial staff, as well as ongoing training for you and your staff to maintain the highest level of service and sales. Acti-Kare has invested a significant amount of time and resources into developing useful training tools for your caregivers and staff. Through our real-time proprietary training web site, your caregivers will be assigned to various video training modules where they can learn valuable information about everything from roles and responsibilities of caregivers, proper body mechanics, nutrition and meal planning, and more. Quizzes are provided to ensure knowledge retention, and you are updated on your caregiver’s progress every step of the way! Our “Acti-Kare Academy” training ensures that your caregivers are providing high quality services to every client.
